MEET YOUR PASTOR …
Andrew Knight grew up in
the home of an Episcopal Priest in Southington, CT. He trusted
Christ as Savior as a public high school freshman. While serving in
the CT Air National Guard he felt the call of God on his
life to be a pastor. He did his undergraduate work at
Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola , FL. After serving a short
while
at Heritage Baptist Church in
Wallingford, CT he was ordained, and then went on to establish a new
Baptist church in Danvers , MA . Pastor Knight has preached
in over 200 Baptist churches across America. He frequently
preaches on WIHS 104.9. In May 2004 he received his Masters
of Biblical Studies from Emmanuel Baptist Theological
Seminary in Newington, CT. In May 2010 he received his
Masters of Christian Education from West Cost Baptist
College in Lancaster, CA. Currently pastor Knight is
pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at Luther Rice Seminary in
Lithonia, GA. He has a passion to study the Bible and then to share those wonderful truths!
He moved to South Windsor in 2000 and is looking forward to serving here for many years to come.
